Towel Radiators for a Cosy Winter

Tuesday November 10, 2009

When the winter starts setting in and the weather gets cooler, many people love the feeling of being warm and cosy inside their homes. There are many ways in which people do this; by lighting a fire or curling up on the sofa perhaps. One room, however, that often gets neglected by the lovely, indoor cosiness of winter is the bathroom.

Since the bathroom is a damp place it can often be quite cold, especially due to tiles and other cold furnishings. On a winter’s day when your house is lovely and warm it can be quite a shock to then walk into a cool bathroom. By installing a towel radiator, your bathroom can be kept quite warm, also, meaning that when you step inside it will be just as heated as the rest of the house.

Another advantage of having a towel radiator in the bathroom during the winter is that once you have stepped out of the shower or bath, you can wrap yourself up in a warm towel and feel cosy, secure and comfortable. This is fantastic for those who hate coming out from the hot water into the cold air and find that this brings them discomfort.

Towel radiators are also great for use in the kitchen during the winter since they can keep the room warm and damp cloths and towels dry so that they do not make the room feel any less cosy. This is also a fantastic idea for anybody whose kitchen is tiled and is thus colder than other rooms in the house.

Christmas is the perfect time of year for owning a towel radiator. Aside from keeping rooms warm, they are also fantastic for when you have visitors. Since towels lying around can make rooms look cluttered, having them hung on towel radiators can ensure that the room looks tidy. Also, your guests can have the bonus of having warm towels when they have showered or bathed and this will make them feel as though they are in luxury. With guests coming to stay, having a towel radiator will also mean that you will not have to wash your towels as frequently.

With all of these reasons for having a towel radiator in winter to make you and guests feel cosy, you should definitely consider one. And besides, you’ll need a warm towel to wrap yourself in after braving the cold weather or taking part in a snowball fight!
