The Many Designs Of Modern Towel Radiators

Tuesday February 16, 2010

Towel radiators are becoming more and more popular in today’s modern bathrooms. Instead of trying to hang a damp towel on a normal radiator we can make the most of the unique design of the towel radiators which are now available.

The more traditional style that you will see in many bathrooms is the ladder appearance. As you might guess this is so called because of the appearance of the towel radiator. It looks like a ladder and this means all the ‘rungs’ on the design enable you to hang several towels on it at once.

You will notice that these come in lots of different sizes however so do have a proper measure up before you actually buy one. They vary widely in width as well as in height, so a lot will depend on the amount of space you have available to install one. They do give off a certain amount of heat as well so the bigger the towel radiator is, the more heat it will give off. You may want to consider this, as well as thinking about the number of towels you want to put on it.

Design is another key factor because while many towel radiators are very similar in appearance there are still some that are different from the normal ladder style you would expect. For example you can get curved towel radiators as well as standard flat ones. And they don’t curve out too far from the wall either so they don’t get in the way in a narrow bathroom.

Some more contemporary styles jut out much further from the wall so it is important to position them in a better place than you would with a flat one. These are usually more curved in design as well so they will look good in many different bathrooms with varying styles.

If you would prefer something a bit more traditional you can buy these towel radiators as well. They generally take the style of an old radiator in the middle, with a framework round them that is more modern in appearance. If you are looking out for this kind of radiator just watch for the more traditional style – you will recognise it when you see it.

In short there are lots of different radiators that you can buy to heat your towels with. The choice of how modern they are is up to you.
