Keep some old ones because they are always handy for mopping up leaks or dealing with other household problems like this that could crop up. You won’t want to use your new towels for those jobs.
But keep them separate from the new towels and make sure everyone in the household knows which ones should be used for which occasions. For example if you have a dog you’ll want to allocate one of the old towels for wiping muddy paws.
The good news is that you will be able to take good care of your new towels by hanging them up on the towel radiator to dry after using them. This is the perfect solution to keeping them in the best possible condition and making them last longer and stay in shape as well.
